I've been freelance writing since 1981 and my work has appeared in numerous print publications including Cat Fancy, Family Pet Magazine, National Pet News, Florida Living, Cats Magazine, Highlights for Children and Hopscotch Magazine. I hold a B.A. degree from the University of Central Florida in Interdisciplinary Studies.

My interests include domestic pets and wild animals, human/animal interactions, our environment, unique travel destinations and recreational opportunities. I enjoy many outdoor activities such as biking, hiking, swimming, and camping. My other hobbies include painting and drawing, sewing, photography, and writing fiction.
